This unfortunate situation highlights the state of politics in the United States, where Democrat voters are so reckless and careless about their liberty and freedom and so unserious- that they elected a man who was obviously in dire need of mental health interventions after suffering a devastating stroke.

As a candidate for US Senate, America watched this guy struggle through speeches and interviews appearing to be lured by greedy and selfish interests to run for office as a civil servant,. Now, he has been hospitalized, leaving a state without representation and providing how crazy our political system has gotten.

Here is what is going on:

According to a statement from his office, Sen.According to a statement from his office,  John Fetterman (D-PA) reportedly checked himself into a hospital Wednesday night for mental health issue.

According to his bio: John Karl Fetterman is an American politician serving as the junior United States senator from Pennsylvania since 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, he served as the 34th lieutenant governor of Pennsylvania from 2019 to 2023 and the mayor of Braddock, Pennsylvania, from 2006 to 2019.

The recent statement said that the decision to check Fetterman into the hospital came after the attending physician of the United States Congress recommended that he do so, according to the Daily Wire, which reported more details:

“Last night, Senator John Fetterman checked himself into Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to receive treatment for clinical depression,” his office said. “While John has experienced depression off and on throughout his life, it only became severe in recent weeks.”

“On Monday, John was evaluated by Dr. Brian P. Monahan, the Attending Physician of the United States Congress,” the statement said. “Yesterday, Dr. Monahan recommended inpatient care at Walter Reed. John agreed, and he is receiving treatment on a voluntary basis.”

“After examining John, the doctors at Walter Reed told us that John is getting the care he needs, and will soon be back to himself,” the statement concluded.

The New York Times they were reported late last week that Fetterman was struggling with “serious mental health” issues and often could not understand the words others are saying to him after the stroke that nearly killed him last year.

The report said that Fetterman’s struggles are significantly worse when he is under any kind of stress, which is something.

Fetterman has indicated that when he’s under stress, trying to understand what other people are saying is like “trying to make out the muffled voice of the teacher in the ‘Peanuts’ cartoon, whose words could never be deciphered,” the report said.

The report comes following Fetterman’s hospitalization last week after feeling lightheaded at a Democrat Senate retreat.

Fetterman’s staff claimed that doctors said that he did not have another stroke and that they were checking for signs of seizures.

The report noted that the stroke last year has taken a “very real psychological toll” on him and that he has “had to come to terms with the fact that he may have set himself back permanently by not taking the recommended amount of rest during the campaign.”

Fetterman’s office released a statement Friday evening claiming that medical tests from his most recent health episode came back negative.

“A few minutes ago, Senator John Fetterman was discharged from The George Washington University Hospital,” the statement said. “In addition to the CT, CTA, and MRI tests ruling out a stroke, his EEG test results came back normal, with no evidence of seizures.”

“John is looking forward to spending some time with his family and returning to the Senate on Monday,” the statement added.

Fetterman’s wife, Gisele, said on Thursday that she is “so proud of him for asking for help.”

“After what he’s been through in the past year, there’s probably no one who wanted to talk about his own health less than John. I’m so proud of him for asking for help and getting the care he needs,” she tweeted.

She went on to say, “This is a difficult time for our family, so please respect our privacy.”

The statement from Fetterman’s chief of staff announcing the news said, “After examining John, the doctors at Walter Reed told us that John is getting the care he needs, and will soon be back to himself.”

it also stated that Fetterman has experienced depression “off and on” over the course of his life, the issue “only became severe in recent weeks.”

Last week, Fetterman’s office announced that after feeling lightheaded, Fetterman went to the George Washington University hospital. He was discharged two days later, and his office said that test results had been able to “rule out a new stroke.”

Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle expressed support for Fetterman on Thursday.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said he is happy to hear the senator is “getting the help he needs.”

“Millions of Americans, like John, struggle with depression each day. I am looking forward to seeing him return to the Senate soon. Sending love and support to John, Gisele, and their family,” Schumer tweeted.
