Fresh off his appearance and speech at the conference of conservative activists in DC, CPAC, Donald Trump has announced the release of a major tool aimed at helping him secure a second term as president.
Trump told the CPAC crowd “We had a Republican Party that was ruled by freaks, neocons, globalists, open border zealots, and fools, but we are never going back to the party of Paul Ryan, Karl Rove, and Jeb Bush. People are tired of RINOs and globalists. They want to see America First.”
The former president added how important the coming presidential election is, saying “Either they win or we win. And if they win, we no longer have a country.”
Now, a new book by Donald Trump, to be released next month, will reveal 150 letters he received from celebrities, including one from Oprah Winfrey saying she’s too bad they aren’t running for office.
His new book, Letters to Trump, features letters he received from presidents, and royals including Princess Diana, world leaders, movie stars, and industry leaders.
In addition to former Presidents Nixon, Reagan, and Clinton, Winning Team Publishing’s book includes letters from world leaders such as North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, Vladimir Putin, and former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro.
Aside from letters from Hillary Clinton and Michael Jackson, the book will also feature letters from Ted Kennedy, the late senator, and the late golf legend Arnold Palmer.
A letter written by Winfrey follows Trump’s 2000 book excerpt ‘The America we Deserve’, to which she responded.
The former President said he would pick Oprah Winfrey as his first choice for Vice President in that book.
In her handwritten letter, Winfrey says: ‘Donald, I received the book excerpt. I have to tell you, your comments made me a little weepy. It’s one thing to try and live a life of integrity – still another have people like yourself notice. Thank you, Oprah.’
According to the letter published by Axios, the iconic talk show host adds: ‘Too bad we’re not running for office. What a team!’
“Trump wrote in his book, which will cost $99 or $399 for a signed edition, that he still thinks Winfrey is ‘amazing’. But he added that Winfrey does not feel the same way, according to the Daily Mail.
‘Sadly, once I announced for President, she never spoke to me again,’ Trump wrote.
“The publisher Winning Team Publishing last year released Trump’s photo book ‘Our Journey Together’. That book grossed over $20 million in sales in the first two months alone,” The Mail continued.
A Winning Team Publishing spokesperson remarked: ‘What do presidents, royals, celebrities, and business titans have in common? They all love Donald Trump.
‘Long before entering politics, Donald Trump lived an extraordinary life. No book highlights his iconic relationships like Letters to Trump, and we are thrilled to be able to share it with our readers.’
“The book will also include letters from Kim Jong-Un, who Trump says he keeps in touch with, The Mail added.
Trump famously declared in 2018 that he and Kim ‘fell in love’ after exchanging letters, but three meetings with the North Korean leader failed to persuade him to give up his nuclear bombs and missiles.
Other letters to be featured in the book come from Trump’s 2016 Democratic rival Hillary Clinton;
Princess Diana; former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo, father of Chris and Andrew Cuomo; golf star Arnold Palmer; renowned actress and singer Liza Minnelli; and television host Jay Leno.
A letter from the late television presenter Regis Philbin is addressed to ‘My Dear Trumpster.’
At CPAC, Trump told attendees ‘I am your retribution. In 2016, I declared: “I am your voice. Today, I add: I am your warrior. I am your justice. And for those who have been wronged and betrayed: I am your retribution.”
“For seven years you and I have been engaged in an epic struggle to rescue our country from the people who hate it and want to absolutely destroy it,” he continued.
“We are going to finish what we started. We started something that was a miracle. We’re going to complete the mission, we’re going to see this battle through to ultimate victory. We’re going to make America great again.”
“With you at my side, we will demolish the deep state. We will expel the warmongers… We will drive out the globalists. We will cast out the communists. We will throw off the political class that hates our country … We will beat the Democrats. We will rout the fake news media. We will expose and appropriately deal with the RINOS. We will evict Joe Biden from the White House. And we will liberate America from these villains and scoundrels once and for all,” he declared.
