Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, a former lawyer for former President Donald Trump, claimed to Newsmax that the Department of Justice covered up evidence of a pay-for-play scheme allegedly carried out by President Joe Biden.

Giuliani stated on “Saturday Report” that special counsel Jack Smith “said that in the United States, there’s one system of laws and it… applies equally to everyone” in reference to his investigation into Trump’s handling of classified documents, which resulted in the former president’s federal indictment.

“Well, of course, that’s the most ridiculous, idiotic statement to make on a day in which we find out that the Bidens took a $10 million bribe fom a Ukrainian Mykola Zlochevsky, which I could have told you, you know, and did tell [the DOJ] three years ago. And they followed up on none of the evidence I gave them. They were hoping that people would disappear or die. It’s extraordinary.”

According to Giuliani, he provided the DOJ with “one witness … who is a woman, who is the chief accountant at this crooked company, Burisma. She was the wife of the former owner, who died under suspicious circumstances. And she was willing to give up all of the offshore bank accounts, including the Bidens. And she’s supervised the transfer of a lot more cash to the Bidens and other crooked politicians for Burisma.”

Before the case was taken away from him by former US Attorney General William Barr and given to the “US attorney in Delaware, who didn’t do a thing about it,” Giuliani continued, the Pittsburgh attorney general was conducting an investigation. Additionally, the woman’s life was in danger.

Giuliani made his remarks following a review of the FBI informant dossier accusing Biden of bribery by House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chair James Comer, R-Ky., and Jamie Raskin, D-Md., the committee’s ranking member, according to the New York Post. Raskin claimed that federal investigators performed a preliminary investigation following the evaluation in 2020 but did not take any further action. Raskin said that the investigation was over, while Comer claimed that the FBI told him that it was still open, and former Attorney General Bill Barr refuted Raskin’s assertion.

The Ukrainian corporation Burisma was implicated in the $5 million bribery conspiracy, according to congressional Republicans who reviewed an FBI informant file accusing Vice President Biden of involvement. Biden mockingly responded, “Where’s the money?”

When questioned about the bribery allegation hours after FBI Director Christopher Wray consented to allow ordinary House Oversight Committee members to view a June 2020 memo in an effort to avoid being found in contempt, Biden told a Post reporter, “It’s a bunch of malarkey.”

After reading the file at the Capitol, Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia and Anna Paulina Luna of Florida gave specifics. Both said that Mykola Zlochevsky, the owner of Burisma, allegedly told an FBI informant that he paid Joe Biden and Hunter $5 million each in an effort to thwart a corruption inquiry.

“There [were] two separate transactions, one that went to Joe Biden for $5 million, one that went to Hunter Biden for $5 million,” Luna told Fox News correspondent Chad Pergram. “There’s no doubt in my mind that Joe Biden is guilty of bribery.”

“It was all a brib[e] to get [former Ukrainian prosecutor general Viktor] Shokin fired,” Greene said of the allegations against the Bidens. Shokin was fired in March 2016 and Joe Biden has publicly boasted that he leveraged $1 billion in US aid to get him thrown out of office.
