Justice Thomas Unleashed on Joe Biden in Brutal Takedown in Resurfaced Video

Earlier this year, a video of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas speaking candidly about a conversation he had with then-Sen. Joe Biden surfaced.

Biden presided over the Senate Judiciary Committee during Thomas’ confirmation hearings in 1991, when George H. W. Bush, the president at the time, nominated Thomas to join the nation’s highest court.

“Finding out what you mean when you say that you would apply the natural law of philosophy to the constitution is, in my view, the single most important task of this committee,” Biden said at the time.

Biden continued:

I just want to make sure we all know what we’re talking about here, that you and I know — at least — what we’re talking about here. There’s a fervent and aggressive school of thought that wishes to see natural law further inform the Constitution than it does now, argued against by the positivists led by Judge Borg [former Supreme Court nominee Robert Bork.]

Someone may apply it in a way, like Moore, who leads him in a direction that is “liberal.” You may apply it in a way that leads you in a direction that’s conservative, or you may, like many argue, not apply it at all. But it is a fundamental question that is going to be almost impossible for non-lawyers to grasp in an exchange. But you know — and I know — that it is a big, big deal.

A journalist questioned Thomas in 2020: “Sen. Biden was very focused on natural law. How did that go?”

“Who knows? I have no idea what he was talking about,” Thomas replied. “I have to be perfectly honest with you. You sit there, and you have no idea what they are talking about. All I know is that he was asking me these questions about natural law.”

He added: “One of the things you do in a hearing is, you have to sit there and look attentively at people who you know have no idea what they’re talking about.”

Aides to President Joe Biden have admitted openly that they frequently don’t understand what he means when he blurts out his peculiar sayings.

The most recent happened earlier this week when he yelled “God Save the Queen” following a speech on gun control. Biden’s “wacky phrases,” which are sometimes confused with his “quirky aphorisms,” were discussed by a number of staffers in interviews with Axios, according to the publication, which simply concluded it is “Biden being Biden.”

Further mentioned by Fox News: “Biden bizarrely ended a speech about gun control in Connecticut with the words ‘God Save the Queen’ after noting that he would not be able to shake hands with attendees because a storm was approaching. He also uttered another phrase he once used toward a student who questioned him about his fourth-place standing in the 2020 Iowa caucuses.”

“Is that the truth? Now, do not make a lie – as that scene in the John Wayne movie – don’t make me a dog-faced, lying, pony-soldier,” Biden said at the time.

“As a proud Irishman whose ancestors probably weren’t fans of the crown, Biden may use the phrase more as sarcasm,” Axios noted.

One of Biden’s advisers stated in an interview that they “still aren’t sure” what the vice president meant by the “Queen” statement.

Because Biden looked to require assistance leaving the stage at the same speech, the strange response reignited conversations about his advanced age and what appears to be his declining mental state.

“…[T]he the scene became even more bizarre immediately following the gaffe. Biden seemed unaware of where he should exit, pointing at the people off-stage and asking them where he should go,” the Western Journal reported. “Eventually, an aide came up and helped him off, and Biden awkwardly jogged across the stage to make an exit.”
