During an appearance with NBC Nightly News, Vice President and potential presidential successor Kamala Harris (scoff at the thought) experienced a rare epiphany.
Before the NBC correspondent (who seemed to have forgotten his Schoolhouse Rock basics on how a bill becomes law) probed Harris on the lack of bipartisanship in Congress, she was asked why the White House doesn’t just issue executive orders.
“The American people deserve leadership that’s about fixing problems, and that’s why he’s going to lose in November,” Harris replied without missing a beat.
“We have a lot of work to be done, but let us not negate the role and responsibility of leaders in Congress,” she added.
Election analyst Steve Kornacki claims that NBC News raised the alarm last month about the “biggest lead” that former President Donald Trump has ever had against President Joe Biden.
The findings of an NBC News survey carried out by Hart Research Associates/Public Opinion Strategies were explained by Kristen Welker of NBC.
Welker remarked, “These are some truly stunning numbers.”
“They really are. Kristen,” Kondracki said. “Let’s just start with the bottom line. When you ask folks, ‘Hey, if it’s the general election and it’s Trump versus Biden,’ our poll, Donald Trump now leads Joe Biden by five points. Compare that to the last time we polled back in November. Trump was ahead then, but it was only by two points.”
“It’s even more significant when you look at it this way over time,” he continued. “We have been testing for five years now, going back to 2019, a Biden Trump matchup. Remember 2019, 2020, Joe Biden led. He led big in every single one of our polls. For the first time in November, Donald Trump polled ahead in our poll, and now at five points.”
“This is the biggest lead NBC has ever had in 16 polls for Donald Trump over Joe Biden,” he went on. “And of course undergirding. All of this is this question of he’s the incumbent, Joe Biden. We ask voters, what do you think of the job he’s doing? And look at that, Kristen, 37% approve and now 60% disapprove.”
For Biden, it has only gotten worse since then. According to a Bloomberg/Morning Consult poll conducted in late February, Biden is lagging Trump by an average of five points in seven swing states: North Carolina (9), Arizona (6), Georgia (6), Nevada (6), Pennsylvania (6), Wisconsin (4), and Michigan (2).
Another issue facing Biden is that Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an independent presidential candidate who was just allowed to appear on ballots in Nevada, Arizona, and Georgia, is expected to deprive Biden of more votes than Donald Trump in a 2024 contest.
Joe Biden needs to win these three pivotal swing states, and he can only “win” in 2020 despite a plethora of voting irregularities, Zuckerberg boxes, and mass mail-in ballots.
Thus, Kamala Harris will surely be proven correct until Joe Biden launches the “most broad and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.”
