Kari Lake Torches Reporter – Trump’s Been Bullied Every Single Day

OPINION:  This article contains commentary which may reflect the author’s opinion

Leftist State-Corporate Media is full of sour grapes at the human connection that the American people have with President Donald J. Trump who is also a candidate for President in 2024.

The members of the administrative state, who want to destroy Trump over his refusal to abandon the working class people, or his “America First’ agenda are dumbfounded that people will not abandon Trump.

Their pouting and pearl clutching over how Trump is perceived by the people is telling about what they believe their real jobs are- representing a corporate agenda- or representing the people of the nation.

The leftist media often mocks and has disdain for the people- so we know what side they take.

Look at Vanity Fair’s pout about Trump:

“In the normal pre-Donald Trump world, a politician getting in trouble for paying off an adult film star he allegedly cheated on his third wife with would be, you know, a political scandal like the kind that brought down everyone from Eliot Spitzer to John Edwards.

But Trump has made it so his sex scandals and possible election interference aren’t functions of his own behavior, but rather deep state plots to keep MAGA down.

It’s the greatest trick Trump ever played on Republicans; he’s convinced them that attempts at accountability for his actions are a direct assault on them.

“This is an attack on our country the likes of which has never been seen before,” he posted after news of his coming indictment in the Stormy Daniels hush money case, adding that it’s part of the “continuing attack on our once free and fair elections.” And this framing of his personal scandals as nefarious forces targeting his supporters has cemented his hold on the base.

Trump’s refusal to accept any personal responsibility and his ability to double down in a truly pathological way has created a world where his base no longer operates in reality, but instead in a kind of MAGA land. It’s a terrain so profoundly distorted that Trump’s base believes that organizations like the FBI and the CIA are composed almost entirely of liberals whose sole purpose is to hurt their guy, and by extension, them.

In this scenario, the act of holding Trump accountable isn’t actually about holding Trump accountable at all. Trump’s indictment is everyone’s fault except for Trump’s. He has an ability to say a lie, like the 2020 election being “stolen,” so many times, and so shamelessly, that much of the GOP base believes it. “The witch-hunts against President Trump have no basis in facts or law.

The deranged special counsel and the DoJ have now resorted to prosecutorial misconduct by illegally leaking information to corrupt the legal process and weaponize the justice system in order to manipulate public opinion and conduct election interference, because they are clearly losing all across the board,” Trump spokesman Steven Cheung wrote in a statement about the DOJ’s investigation into the classified documents found in Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence. “

That is how the pouting left sees things.  But supporters of Trump and his agenda see something totally different:

Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake sounded off on Tuesday night when asked about the indictment during an event at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate and after his court appearance in New York earlier in the day.

Lake was asked by a reporter,” What did you make of today’s proceedings in New York?”

“I don’t know if I can say it, it’s just a sh*tshow,” Lake declared.

When asked if she thought the court proceedings could hurt Trump in the 2024 general election, Lake said: “No, not at all. Are you kidding? The guy is raising millions of dollars from people who have never donated one penny to politics. They understand and they recognize bullying when they see it.”

“A lot of these are mama bears. And they recognize bullying. And some of their kids have been bullied. President Trump has been bullied every damn day since he dared to stand up for We The People,” she added.

Lake eventually walked away from the interview and joked that she didn’t have time for the “fake news” any longer.

WATCH:

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy declared that Congress will take action after Trump appeared in Manhattan on Tuesday for his arraignment in the case brought against him by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, Martin Walsh reported for Conservative Brief, adding:

Trump pleaded not guilty to 34 charges regarding allegations that he falsified business records related to adult film star Stormy Daniels’ hush-money case. Trump was indicted by a Manhattan grand jury in a case involving his purported role in hush money payments to Daniels ahead of the 2016 election, allegedly to keep Daniels quiet about an affair the two of them had in 2006.

McCarthy voiced his frustration and vowed to hold Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg accountable.

“Alvin Bragg is attempting to interfere in our democratic process by invoking federal law to bring politicized charges against President Trump, admittedly using federal funds, while at the same time arguing that the peoples’ representatives in Congress lack jurisdiction to investigate this farce. Not so. Bragg’s weaponization of the federal justice process will be held accountable by Congress,” McCarthy tweeted.

The Manhattan judge presiding over the case against Trump warned the former president on Tuesday to not make statements that could possibly lead to violence. However, the judge did not issue a gag order, which would have limited Trump’s ability to speak about the case, Walsh wrote.

Judge Juan Merchan said that Trump and other witnesses that prosecutors intend to call should “refrain from making statements likely to incite violence or create civil unrest.”

Trump’s attorney, Todd Blanche, responded in court by arguing that the grand jury process has already been riddled with leaks and that the prosecution’s star witness, Michael Cohen, addressed reporters about his testimony in front of the building where the grand jury met.

Many other Republicans issued strong statements in support of Trump.

House Majority Leader Steve Scalise tweeted: “The sham New York indictment of President Donald Trump is one of the clearest examples of extremist Democrats weaponizing government to attack their political opponents. Outrageous.”

Missouri GOP Sen. Josh Hawley said: “Tonight’s indictment of Donald Trump isn’t about the law. It’s about power. Raw power. It’s the Democrat Party telling the nation they will stop at nothing to control the outcome of the next presidential election. It is an assault on our democracy, pure and simple.”

Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz responded: “The Democrat Party’s hatred for Donald Trump knows no bounds. The ‘substance’ of this political persecution is utter garbage. This is completely unprecedented and is a catastrophic escalation in the weaponization of the justice system.”
