For the first time since her video announcing that she will be getting preventative chemotherapy following a cancer diagnosis, Queen Camilla has shared positive news regarding Kate Middleton.

Two little girls approached Camilla on Wednesday while she was taking in the Shrewsbury Farmers’ Market and presented her homemade cards as a show of support for the princess. The queen informed the girls, “I know that Catherine is thrilled by all the kind wishes and support.”

She responded to Harriet’s explanation that the cards were “a bit creased” from the wind by promising to transfer them “carefully” to Lois, who was six, and Harriet, who was ten.

The Queen assured the two girls, “I’ll take them carefully and make sure she knows they’re coming.”

The small child stated she and her sister wished to show the royal family how much they are loved in an interview with the Telegraph following their meeting.

Harriet remarked, “We heard the news, and I wanted to hold the poster up to show my love to Kate.”

“She said she certainly will send her love,” their mother said, expressing surprise that the queen had been able to come this close to receiving the cards.

Kate Middleton made an announcement last week via a video that she was undergoing chemotherapy after doctors found cancer during her stomach surgery earlier this year.
