In the event that Donald Trump wins the presidency once more, Melania Trump and him have agreed to significantly reduce her responsibilities as first lady.

Throughout Donald Trump’s first term as US president, Melania Trump was very involved in the political process. She has, however, noticeably disappeared from the public eye as Trump considers running for president again. Her extended absence from political campaigns has raised questions regarding their marital status. However, a recent story implies that she has a deal with Trump: she will not return to her full-time position as First Lady if he wins the presidency, with their son Barron serving as the main justification.

The former First Lady Melania has not made much of an appearance lately. Melania was noticeably missing from last night’s high-profile debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump, which Jill Biden attended with the President. According to an insider, “Melania has made a deal with her husband that if he wins the presidency, she will not have to fulfil first lady duties 24/7.”

The rumors first appeared soon after it was suggested in a number of papers that Barron, the couple’s only child, would be attending New York University this autumn. Trump’s youngest child recently received her high school diploma, and both parents were present. The graduation took place in the midst of Trump’s highly publicized hush money trial, in which he was ultimately convicted of 34 felonies related to falsifying corporate records.

The news of her involvement as First Lady comes on the heels of her absence at the first presidential debate this past Thursday, in which the liberal media is going wild with on speculations.

Requests for information regarding the guests attending the debate were not answered by the Trump campaign, nor was there any response from the former first lady’s office regarding her potential presence.

“I have no specific names, but you will find out when he lands in Atlanta,” Trump campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt told NBC News in an on-camera interview when asked if Melania Trump would be there.

The Trump campaign’s fast reaction account retaliated when a CNN reporter wrote on social media site X that Melania Trump was not among those who disembarked with the former president, saying, “CNN reporter arrives in Atlanta for the debate and is not accompanied by a spouse or partner. SAD!”

The Hill detailed out Melania’s whereabouts, or lack of, adding in a comparison to Jill Biden for extra “sting.” Of note, Jill Biden is basically her husband’s handler, notably guiding him off the debate stage, as well as every other public speech he makes. She has to be present to ensure his wellbeing and that he makes it off stage without a bad fall, which he’s had plenty of when she hasn’t been there to hold his hand.

“The former first lady has mostly been absent from her husband’s White House bid,” The Hill reported, adding:

“She appeared at Trump’s campaign launch in 2022, but she has not joined him at any of his campaign rallies, nor did she appear on stage with him following victories in the Iowa caucuses, New Hampshire primary or Super Tuesday primaries.”

“Melania Trump was also absent throughout the former president’s trial in New York City, where he was eventually found guilty on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in connection to a hush money scheme during the 2016 campaign.”

“The first lady hosted a fundraiser for the LGBTQ group Log Cabin Republicans at Mar-a-Lago in Florida in April, and she appeared alongside Trump in March when the two cast their ballots in the Florida primary. She is set to host another Log Cabin Republicans fundraiser in New York next month.”

“First lady Jill Biden accompanied President Biden to the debate.”
