RFK Jr. Makes Unconventional Pick For His VP

The outspoken NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers has withdrawn from the RFK Jr. vice presidential contest, according to a Kennedy campaign source. Now, a new name has surfaced as his running mate.

Mediaite has learned that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. intends to select Nicole Shanahan, an entrepreneur and attorney located in California who was previously married to Google co-founder Sergey Brinn, as his running mate in his independent presidential campaign.

According to a source close to the campaign, Kennedy has ruled out contemplating NFL star Aaron Rodgers as his vice presidential candidate. Those who contributed to the campaign expressed alarm over the possibility of his selection.

It is now anticipated that Shanahan, the man behind Kennedy’s Super Bowl ad, will be appointed the running mate for the unlikely campaign.

“They align on numerous issues,” a source close with the campaign said of Kennedy and Shanahan. “The campaign is also looking for a candidate who can help finance the ballot access initiative,” that will be crucial if Kennedy stands a chance of competing in the election.

The source added: “She might be infusing millions of dollars into the campaign to help fund the ballot initiative, which makes her attractive financially; however, she lacks the qualifications to actually do the job.”

Mediaite discovered that the website www.kennedyshanahan.com was registered on March 13th. They also confirmed that the pay.kennedyshanahan.com subdomain is operational and accepting donations.

After learning that Kennedy senior advisor Link Lipsitz had registered the domain, Mediaite made a $1 donation via that website.

When Mediaite asked Kennedy for comment, a spokesman did not reply.

The news that Kennedy would be entering the September election as an independent was first reported by Mediaite.
