According to a new documentary, porn star Stormy Daniels told actor Seth Rogen a rather amazing anecdote about then-celebrity mogul Donald Trump’s distinctive haircut.

The upcoming trial in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case over hush money payments to Daniels, which led to a multiple-count indictment of Trump, has brought Stormy Daniels, the stage name of the former Stephanie Clifford, back into the spotlight.

However, Peacock released Stormy, a new feature-length documentary that tells the tale of Daniels’s historical journey using fresh interviews and video, on Monday.

Rogan remained friends with Daniels after they first met on the filming of the movie Knocked Up.

In the documentary, the actor disclosed that Trump’s devotion to his divisive hairstyle stems from a dream with biblical implications, according to Daniels:

STORMY DANIELS: Trump called me when I was on the set of Knocked Up. That’s where I met Seth Rogen.

SETH ROGAN: (film clip) That’s how you get pinkeye.

SETH ROGAN: (Ellen Clip) I’ve known Stormy Daniels a long time. And at the time when you ask a porn star who they’ve been sleeping with and the answer was Donald Trump, it was, like, the least surprising thing.

SETH ROGAN: From my memory. We were like, what’s up with the hair? Like, what’s going on with the hair? And she was like, “oh, I asked him about the hair.”

He said to her that he had had a dream like, Samson and Delilah and that he, like, felt as though his power, like, rested in his hair, and that if he lost it, he would lose his, like, power and his stature.

And that’s why, even though he knows it’s ridiculous and like, holding, you know, not, you know, like, objectively not passing all the, (laughs) the check marks. He would want a head of hair to pass–. To him that is preferable than cutting it off because he has, like, superstitions about it.
