Top Republican Makes Startling Prediction About Joe Biden

The walls are closing in on President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden, and he might soon be facing impeachment.

Rep. Tim Burchett, a Republican from Tennessee and a member of the House Oversight Committee, claimed that Biden might be impeached based on material provided by an IRS whistleblower who is requesting protection in order to testify.

“This is just the very tip of the iceberg. This very brave IRS agent coming forward, I think, will just start it,” he said to Fox News host Maria Bartiromo. “They’re talking about impeaching Biden. How could we not impeach Biden if this does, in fact, reach him?”

Burchett also discussed the letter, which was signed by 51 former intelligence chiefs, in which they claimed that the laptop used by Hunter Bien bore the telltale signs of Russian disinformation.

But according to testimony given to the House Judiciary Committee by former acting CIA director Michael Morell, he sent the letter after speaking with Antony Blinken, the current secretary of state, because he wanted Joe Biden to win the 2020 presidential election.

“If I was [among] those 51 people, I’d be lawyering up right now because they’re going to be asked in public at some point what they knew and if they knew that all this other stuff was going on because it is very damning,” the representative said.

“If this cover-up shows what’s going on, that we all assume is going on, and that the 51 folks were basically lied to and showed false documentation, how can you not [impeach Biden]?” he said.

“Like I said, the documentation that I’ve seen, I can’t comment on all of it,” the representative said. “But what I can comment on is that it is bad, and it is getting worse, and it is showing illegal monies from Chinese communists flowing into this White House via Hunter Biden and his lawyers.”

“How could we not impeach Biden if this does, in fact, reach him?” he said.

The IRS agent’s attorney has stepped up and explained why his client is waiting to be heard while claiming to have evidence that a significant investigation is being handled improperly.

The anonymous criminal supervisory agent is awaiting protection from the lawmakers who can provide it because, according to his lawyer Mark Lytle, his client possesses material that disputes the testimony of a “senior, politically-appointed official of the Department of Justice.”

Even though the lawyer was unable to confirm that the inquiry concerned Hunter Biden, sources told Fox News, the Wall Street Journal, and other media outlets that this was the probe he was referring to.

The 53-year-old Biden’s attorney, Chris Clark, put out a statement claiming the agent Lytle is representing committed a “felony … to improperly disclose information about an ongoing tax investigation.”

“There has incredible power in abusing that power by targeting embarrassing or disclosing information about a private citizen’s tax matters undermines Americans faith in the federal government,” Clark claimed, according to “Special Report” anchor Bret Baier.

Lytle told Baier he was troubled by Clark’s statement, saying his client wrestled many a “sleepless night” in considering whether to come forward to Congress.

“At the end of the day, he decided that he could not live with himself if he stayed quiet and said nothing. So he’s coming forward, but he knows that he’s going to be attacked,” the attorney said. “[A]ttacks like this are kind of what he was worried about.”

“There is a strong contingent on the Hill that believes in the whistleblower programs to have to shine a light on government agencies and programs and to enable people to come forward without getting threatened,” the attorney said. “And it’s unfortunate that that statement was made.”

The lawyer said that his client is apolitical and submitted a letter requesting protection to four senators—Lindsey Graham, Mike Crapo, and Charles Grassley—as well as two Democrats, Ron Wyden and Richard Durbin.

Conservative Brief reported:

Fox News host Brett Baier said that there were reports that the senior Department Of Justice official that his client can contradict is Attorney General Merrick Garland, but the attorney could not confirm that.

“In his mind, it’s directly contradictory to what he knows is going on with the investigation … he wants to come forward,” he said.
