Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, a formerly Democratic-turned-Independent, has replied to a startling claim that she is considering running for office once more.
According to a poll that indicated Gabbard would have a difficult time defeating Sen. Mazie Hirono of Hawaii, there has been growing speculation that she is preparing to run against her.
“Gabbard doesn’t know anything about the poll. She has no plans to run for the U.S. Senate,” said Gabbard’s spokeswoman Erika Tsuji, according to Resist the Mainstream.
The Hirono campaign, meanwhile, denied any participation with the poll. According to Hirono’s spokesperson George Flynn, “She is running for reelection so Hawaii can continue to have a people’s senator who’s always on their side.”
“The poll was reportedly sent out via SurveyMonkey to residents of the Aloha state, as reported by Hawaii News Now. As of this writing, the results of the survey have not been made public,” Resist the Mainstream added.
With only two delegates from American Samoa, Gabbard quit Congress to make an unsuccessful bid for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination. She formally left the party in October to become an Independent, claiming she had had it with the “wokeness” and “warmongers” there and that the party was a “elitist cabal.”
“I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue & stoke anti-white racism, actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms, are hostile to people of faith & spirituality, demonize the police & protect criminals at the expense of law-abiding Americans, believe in open borders, weaponize the national security state to go after political opponents, and above all, dragging us ever closer to nuclear war,” she said on Twitter while not elaborating on whether she would join another Party.
“I believe in a government that is of, by, and for the people. Unfortunately, today’s Democratic Party does not. Instead, it stands for a government of, by, and for the powerful elite,” the former representative said.
“I’m calling on my fellow common sense independent-minded Democrats to join me in leaving the Democratic Party. If you can no longer stomach the direction that so-called woke Democratic Party ideologues are taking our country, I invite you to join me,” she said.

She has recently started her own podcast, for which she scored an interview with ex-Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
“There are members of Congress who are controlled by the intelligence agencies. I’m not speculating about this, I know this. I lived there for 35 years. I know this,” Carlson said during a segment of the December show.
“I had a very high-ranking member of the House Intel Committee tell me at dinner at a restaurant in Washington, he’d been drinking. ‘We’ve got to talk about this.’ I said to text me. He said, ‘I don’t text.’ Why is that? Well, he said ‘the NSA reads my texts.’ I said, ‘The NSA reads your texts? You’re the head guy on the Intelligence Committee. You’re their boss? You’re providing oversight in our Constitutional system,’” he said. “Yeah, but they’re still spying on him.”
“The second thing: Michael McCaul, who is the leader of the neocons in the House, I got into an argument once with him last year on the phone. He told somebody that I was a Russian agent or something. And I was outraged! So I called him on the phone, and I used bad language. I was really mad. He said, ‘Whoa, whoa, whoa, I that was just what the intel briefers told me, that you’re working for Russia,’” the former host said.
“And I said, “That’s what the intel briefers told you? You believe your f***ng intel briefers? How old are you, son?’” he said.
