On Monday, conservative television commentator Bill O’Reilly expressed disapproval of former President Donald Trump’s “ridiculous” statement expressing hatred towards Taylor Swift. He also deemed Trump’s assertions about Vice President Kamala Harris being a “communist” to be unequivocally false.

In response to Trump’s post titled “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” which was released by the former president in reaction to Swift’s support of Harris, O’Reilly expressed the following sentiment: “If it were Ronald Reagan, you’d say, ‘I hate Lovin’ Spoonful.’ I mean, it was ridiculous. It’s ridiculous! I don’t know why he does it.”

The ex-Fox News presenter further stated, “If he wants to call Kamala Harris a communist, he can call her a communist, okay? Because it is not true, but it’s political rhetoric. It’s not hateful, ‘I want her to be crucified.’ This is what politicians do on both sides.”

O’Reilly concluded by urging Trump and Harris to co-sign a letter calling for political rhetoric to be dialed down.

O’Reilly, who has been a ferven supporter of Trump and present at many of his fundraising parties, wasn’t the only one to throw Trump under the bus this week. In a surprising move, Joe Rogan publicly sided with Kamala Harris is a shocking stance much of his audience likely won’t appreciate.

Joe Rogan bestowed a chef’s kiss upon the team led by Vice President Kamala Harris, asserting that the more well-prepared Democrat triumphed against former President Donald Trump in their ABC News debate.

During an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience with fellow comic Tom Segura, which was released on Monday, Rogan contributed his insights on the subject.

“I just wanna say, whoever’s helping her, whoever’s coaching her, whoever’s the puppet master running the strings,” Rogan said, then offering a mock chef’s kiss, you did a fucking amazing job.”

The comedian and podcaster argued Harris’s win simply comes down to a better team behind her.

“She’s nailing it,” he said.

Harris, he observed, was more well “prepared” whereas Trump appeared to lack any preparation whatsoever.

“The difference in that debate was not a difference in who’s gonna have better policies? Who’s gonna be better for the country? The difference in the debate, in my opinion, was who was better prepared. She was way better prepared and even when it came to answering tough questions, instead of answering, she would just say things that she believes and they sounded real good, and that’s the sound bite,” Rogan said.

He contended that although Trump is skilled at “riffing” and capable of being “funny like a comedian,” his spontaneous manner is ineffective in a debating setting. Nevertheless, the former president probably won’t have to worry about this because he declared during the first debate that there wouldn’t be another one.

“Someone needs to tell him you’ve got these tiny little windows, and you should have all the words ready for those windows,” Rogan said.
